A very good early 20th Century French Band sampler. Like there English equivalent these school room exercise samplers were used by the young girls as there CV to be taken to employers rolled up as examples of the work they have achieved in school.

The bottom portion has the sewers details and I believe the school it is dated 1921. The whole sampler trimmed in lace.
