A rare standing oil lamp probably Scottish the simple black smith made flat tripod base with shaped feet stands a sinle stem with an adjustable spring oil lamp of large size. This was made for fish / whale oil .
Late 18th or early very early 19th Century .
Condition as one would expect over all rust the cover to the oil lamp is missing but over wise fine.
