An interesting and I believe rare figure of a young Scotchman and very topical today, although I believe this to have been made circa 1900-15 in one of the East cost potteries like Portobello.
Hollow base in very much the Staffordshire style he stands an impressive 14 inches 36 cm high and is decorated in typical Portobello colours. At the base in a square panel is the motto "SCOTLAND FOR EVER".
Condition perfect minor age ware only. No chips cracks or restoration.
