  SLIP DECORATED BUTTER POT £SOLD  
an early nineteenth century English pearlware (Perhaps Leeds) butter tub c1810-25. The form rather charming and moderately unusual, the oval body applied with very crisply moulded swags of husks, issuing from ribbon tied floret pendants reserved against a powder blue ground with two integral angular handles as shown. The piece measures 5 7/8 inches long, is 4 3/8 inches wide and stands 2 5/8 inches tall. Condition: excellent, one handle with a small shallow chip and a tiny touch in, two minute chips to rim, otherwise excellent and as clearly pictured (occasional small frit to ground colour
