An interesting piece of early to mid 19th century saltglaze. A perfume or scent bottle, moulded with a racing horse on one side. The image is very similar to that found ( although two horses) on white stone ware jugs of c.1820,
Deep dark brown, possibly Derbyshire I would think c.1840.
Height 7 cm.
