A very good 14th Century Armorial tile, depicting the The Alms of Astly, This tile would appear to come from the collegate church of St. Mary at Astley, also associated with Nuneaton & Ulverscroft Priory.
Provenance, & ill. A collection of Early English Pottery pt.XX Jonathan Horne 577.
Appears to have been broken in two with the back of the right hand corner made up, well restored.
