I have always thought Green leaf plates are a wonderful thing to collect, produced from the late 18th century though to the 20th , interesting shapes and range of colour including autumn browns and yellows and so many different makers. And inexpensive. This was a new one for me WOOD & CHALLINOR, Brownhills Pottery Tunstall 1828-43. Godden has only printed W&C mark recorded so this again may be a new find. |
