An Exceptional very large Hand Vase. in Miro wood, Marked with the original paper label.
There are two chips filled to the top rim of the vase and some dark patination to the wood, Otherwise, the vase is in good condition with no other chips.
The vase measure approximately 16" 40 cm in height.
Pervis Ferris Young was born on Pitcairn Island on March 24, 1928. He was the son of Andrew Clarence David Young and Catherine Almira Warren. Pervis married Marona Estelle Young, the daughter of Wilkson Carlson Young and Marjorie Estelle Christian. Their children were Daryl Patrick Irving Young, Tony Larry Young, who was born on Pitcairn Island about 1957, and died August 11, 1957, on Pitcairn Island; and Jannette Sandra Young. |
