£110

CHARLES, Rogers named childs plate c.1830 £110
This is a lovely small ( 11cm diameter) creamware child's plate by Rogers of Longport, Stoke On Trent in Staffordshire. It is impressed ROGERS which was the mark used by the factory between 1784 & 1814 although it is believed that it may have been used until 1836. It is moulded with sprigs of flowers picked out in red, green and blue and has a central transfer printed name ROBERT.
It is in fair condition for a plate that is almost 200 hundred years old. There are no chips but there is some light staining and there are several cracks
