This is a fine example of a carved flying fish. A souvenir of Pitcairn Island, signed by Calvert Warren.
Philip Anderson Calvert Warren was born on Pitcairn Island on July 10, 1889. He was the son of James Sanford Warren and Ellen Catherine Young. In October 1908, on Pitcairn Island he married Emily Mabel Christian, daughter of Elias Christian and Mary Elizabeth Young. He died on May 24, 1974, at age 84, on Pitcairn Island.

There is one age related crack on the signature side, but this is commensurate with age.

It has a wonderful patina.
