  WORCESTER QUAKER SCHOOL ANN ELT 1828 £495  
interesting needle work sampler by Ann Elt born in Hallow in 1811 and who appears to have attended the Worcester Quaker House School, (The sampler has all the hallmarks of a Quaker School including Ligatures unique to Quakers).
She Married Thomas Merrell of Grimley in 1841 he an agricultural labour she a glove maker. They had two children Helen & William. She died Sept.1857.
Worked in very dark green on an open natural linen.
