A delightful late 19th century spongeware Belleek Porringer, a small bowl with handle. Generally used for mixed eating a stew / soup.
This came from Ireland where although a lot of Irish Spngeware was in fact made in Scotland this is probably an Irish piece produced by the firm of Belleek, later famed for its fine porcelain.
