Born 26.4.1906 Crouch End Essex, by 1940 she described her self as a professional artist having attended the Central School of Arts and Crafts
After 1945, Margaret was working in stained glass as Lowndes and Drury's chief designer . A few of her works are in St John, Upper Maze Hill in Hastings, Jevington and Chesham. Margaret Thompson was originally one of a number of independent artists who worked at the studios of Lowndes & Drury, along with other notable artists. She also worked as a costume designer for a number of theaters , and plays. She died 2007.
