An unusual mid 19th Century "Caneware" Flower pot decorated in relief with a somewhat classical style pattern.
Unusually non base it has a raise Kite mark for 1860, I would have thought much earlier. The registration details for 23 June 1860 would appear not for a pottery but a retailer or wholesaler . Although I personally think it may be Minton ?. |
