  BRISTOL BOBBIN/ THREAD BOX dated 1821 £625  
Apparently an unrecorded form, rectangular with sliding lid that reveals six compartments that would hold silk bobbins, the fine threads being pulled through the side holes.
The box its self decorated by William Fifield of Water Lane Pottery Bristol. The underside incised with the initials WL and the date 1821, the same initials painted on the underside of the lid.
Condition very well restored. the lid in three parts and has one corner restored. some short body cracks to box and one foot replaced.
