  CROQUET by Henry Mounsey circa 1860 £45  
A charming pen & ink drawing c.1860 depicting Croquet, from a collection of water colours, in an an album of drawings by Henry Mounsey ( 1853-1932). The eldest child of Jasper Capper Mounsey an Iron Merchant from Durham Tyne & wear although was living in Jesmond at the time these was painted. Later the family moved south to Swanscome in Kent where Henry worked as a Merchants Clark, before becoming like his father an Iron Merchant. He retired by 1891 and moved to Walcot in Somerset.
