Produced in Staffordshire or one of the North East Pottery circa 1840. It is hand decorated in overglaze enamel colours of red, ocha, blue and green in a Pratt ware style. The pattern commonly referd to as \\\"PEA FOWL\\\".
Diameter of saucer 4 1/2 inches, 11.5 cm; Length of cup 3 1/2 inches, 9 cm.
Condition Good. Some discolored fritting of the glaze around the edge of saucer. No restoration.
