SUSAN BRAKE, YETMINSTER SCHOOL, 1813.
Susan (Susanna) was born July 27th 1807, so only 6 1/2 when she worked her sampler. Her parents were Charles and Ann farmers in the village. She died Aged 38 in 1847.
Yetminster is a village and civil parish in the English county of Dorset. It lies 4 miles south-west of Sherborne. It is sited on the River Wriggle.
