AUDREY KATHARINE HARRISON, could well be thought of as having an interesting and exciting life, but was probably more of "in the background & left behind".
The daughter of Alban & Elizabeth Harrison Curate & Vicar of a number of churches and Chaplin of HMS prison Maidstone... She married George Somers McLoughlin CMG,DSO becoming an 'Army Wife' his distinguished carrier included Africa, Jubaland, Sudan Kampala, Mombasa, Uganda & Transvaal. Later he served in Malta. It would appear our Audrey stayed at home in England looking after their four children.
The Vicarage believed to date back to 1826, is a fine and extremely attractive example of Georgian architecture with rendered façades, rows of impressive large sash windows, and a slate roof, is currently on the market at £3.6 m.
