Red lines enclose blue sponge flowers that form the border of this plate, The central image of a blue cockerel is pure folk art. Additional overglaze enamels of green red ect add to the image. Traditionally associated with the decorator Sarah Roberts. Llanelli Pottery, Wales, circa 1900.
