An interesting early 19th Century canary yellow jug decorated with a country scene on one side and the other a Man of War ship with the motto Success to the wooden walls of old England. These appear to be printed but are infact hand painted. Obviously the potter was copying a transfer print at the time. Commemorating the Success of the Navy with Nelson etc.
Height 4 1/2 inches.
