This delightful small box produced in Staffordshire around 1790-1800 in what is oftern thought off as a New Hall style. Enamel decoration of small flowers with a floral garland border. The bottom decorated in a similar style with a larger sprig of leaves. The sides with bands including a great band of yellow.
Diameter 3 inch 7.5 cm Height 1 1/2 inch 3.7cm.
Condition Unrestored. some chipping and loss to the screw, Still turns and locks in place but about half of the thread is missing on the lid, Also small chip on rim of lid. Base perfect.
