                                  | A very good late 18th or very early 19th century creamware tankard. Made by either one of the Staffordshire potters or probably a potter from the North East of England, Sunderland or Newcastle.  Hand pained in over glaze enamel colours with the Blacksmiths arms over the owners name DAVID LAWSON. One either side a small flower spray. Top and bottom have deep brown lines. 
 Height 15 cm 6 inches.
 
 North East pottery or Staffordshire circa 1790-1820.
 Very good restored hairline down the side of the handle
