A rare mid 19th century Mallet whiskey decanter inscribed to the collar D.Mc.LEAN.
Scottish, circa 1860.
It is interesting that these Mallet forms are often associated with the Masonic Lodge , a dinner was held for one D.Mc.Lean at the Mount Egmont Masonic Lodge, in Taranaki New Zealand on the 1.march 1854.
Decorated in typical Scottish colours with some sponge decorated flowers.
Height 23 cm.
