Hezia is an unusual name usually of Hebrew or Jewish faith, although the verse "I Know that my Redeemer lives" by Samuel Hedley (1775) is clearly Christian.
Hezia was born in 1847 in Totnes Devon. We have found little about her or her family and feel that she may well have changed her name when they moved. |
