Rare Cast Iron German Stove plate depicting the story of David and Bathsheba (II Samuel 11:2, 12:1-5). The central scene showing Bathsheba bathing in her pool beside an elaborate fountain, while being spied upon by King David from his distant balcony.
Attributed to the Master Ronnung, who's workshop was in Herz Region of Germany, circa 1600.
