Large early 19th Century water colour of a young boy on the back of a donkey.
inscribed on the mount MASTER HENRY SMYTH.
On the back an inscription giving Henry's details as "Henry Smyth (pronounced smith) of Devon; & Corston Nr.Pembroke.
Corston House and farm form a small estate . Weather Henry was a member of the owners household or the son of an estate worker we do not as yet know.
